The 330130-040-00-00 is a 3300 XL standard extension cable manufactured by Bently Nevada. In addition, the 3300 XL probe and extension cable represent an improvement over earlier models. Thanks to the proprietary TipLoc molding process, the adhesive force between the probe tip and the probe body is stronger. For a more secure connection between the probe cable and the probe tip, the probe cable features a unique CableLoc design that provides a pull of 330 N (75 lbf).

The 3300 XL 8 mm probe and extension cable (with FluidLoc cable option) prevent oil and other liquids from leaking out of the machine. The 3300 XL probes, extension cables and proximity sensors use corrosion-resistant gold-plated ClickLoc connectors. These connections can be tightened to a certain extent with a finger (a "click" when tightened) and locked into place by a specially designed locking mechanism. For installation or removal, these connectors do not require any special equipment.

GE/Bently Nevada's 3300 XL 8mm proximity sensor system includes an 8mm probe, an extension cable, and a proximity sensor. The system measures both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) measurements and gives an output voltage proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface.

The main applications of the system are vibration and position measurement on fluid film bearing machines, as well as bond phase reference and velocity measurement. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5 meter system is also fully API 670 compliant (4th edition) in terms of mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity sensor systems deliver this level of performance.
